Lunedý 12 marzo 2007, dalle 15:30 alle 18:30, l'Istituto Comprensivo di Coriano ospiterÓ il Workshop di formazione del Trinity College dal titolo: "Get Them Talking" tenuto dalla Prof.ssa Manuela Calzini.

Conversation practice activities in the primary classroom
Practical demonstrations of a variety of highly motivating speaking activities which will appeal to every type of learner. Each activity is based on sound principles, each highlighting both mainstream and current trends in language teaching. Active participation is essential. Teachers will go home with activities they can use in the classroom straight away, and ideas for implementing the principle of letting the students do the talking.
Note biografiche del relatore :
Manuela Calzini trained as an English Language teacher at International House, Newcastle upon Tyne, and took her CELTA at Cambridge University . She has been living in Italy since 1990 where she has held various teaching posts, and currently is director of studies at English Express, a teacher training and language learning centre in Arezzo . She is also part of the teacher training team for Tuscany in the Project Hocus and Lotus - a psycholinguistic model for very young learners coordinated by the University ' La Sapienza' in Rome - she works with Trinity College London on teacher training courses and workshops in central Italy . She works with the Italian Ministry of Education both in traditional and blended training courses for primary and secondary teachers. She is also project designer, coordinator and mentor in various European projects and works with the Municipality of Arezzo on Socrates and Leonardo Projects.
